Web Portal Features

Each community will be provided with a unique web presence (‘mini-site’), which will be accessible through the web portal www.livingcity.co.uk. Every scheme web portal can be branded to the clients’ individual requirement.

Each mini-site can provide:

  • An interface to allow tenants to order services and report problems to the management regime.
  • A forum to enable tenants to engage in online discussion (or submit queries) with the building or estate management regime.
  • A forum allowing tenants to interact online with each other.
  • A channel for the management regime to make announcements and make other communications with the tenants.
  • An online space to allow the management regime to promote useful services to the tenants.

Because the Web Portal is hosted on the “world wide web”, users are able to access their site from home, office or anywhere offering web access. Recent technological advances have facilitated remote access via mobile telephones and web-enabled PDA’s (e.g. The Blackberry).
